Claire is the Director and Founder of ClarityNT in Alice Springs. She has been living in Alice Springs for over 11 years starting her career with Deloitte before taking on the challenge of Group Finance Manager for a group of companies based in Central Australia.
Following her career at Deloitte, she accept the challenge as Group Finance Manager for a group of companies based in Central Australia. With extensive experience working with not for profit organisations, Claire understands the requirements and challenges of working with these corporations with she enjoys immensely. Working closely with not for profit clients and helping them achieve both their financial and non financial goals is a significant aspect of our services.
With a particular interest in streamlining processes within an organisation, Claire is always on the lookout for new software and applications that can help with operational efficiencies.
Claire is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), a Member of the Institute of Public Accountants (MIPA), a registered Tax Agent, and holds and Executive Certificate in Corporate Governance. Claire was a proud finalist in the 2007 Telstra Business Women of the Year Award for the Community and Government Sector. She was also a finalist in the 2007 Telstra Business Women of the Year Award for the Community and Government Sector.
Mark joined ClarityNT in 2014 as Manager of Business and Advisory Services. He is responsible for managing a portfolio of our larger clients, who are mostly Aboriginal Corporations. He brings an additional dimension to our team with his diverse experience. Originally from England, Mark is proud to call Australia home.
Over the course of his career, Mark spent 20 years working with Chartered Accounting firms around Australia. Arriving in Alice Springs in the 90’s, Mark worked as the Accountant for the Institute for Aboriginal Development (IAD), Central Australian Aboriginal Alcohol Programs Unit (CAAAPU), Property Manager for Nganampa Health, and as Municipal Services Officer for Kanpi and Nyapari homeland communities on APY Lands. Mark has lived in homeland communities on the APY Lands for years where he became semi fluent in the Pitjantjatjara language.
Mark is passionate about work for Aboriginal Corporations and not for profit organisations. He has comprehensive knowledge of the CATSI Act and the NT Associations Act and believes the key for organisations to meet their goals is good Governance and Financial Systems.
Mark initially obtained management, communication and report writing skills whilst working for Insolvency Practitioners in NSW and SA. More recently, he has prepared a considerable number of Business Plans, and other similar plans and reports for numerous businesses and organisations.
When he's not at work you can find him watching Rugby Union, the Tour de France or enjoying the great outdoors.
David works with ClarityNT as a Senior Accountant. David commenced his Accounting career with RSM Bird Cameron in Port Lincoln working mainly with Primary Producers before deciding to pursue contract roles in various locations around Australia.
With the benefit of exposure to roles as diverse as Financial Accountant for a large Not for Profit in Victoria to Finance Manager for a firm of Cabinet Makers in Canberra to Tax Accountant in Far North Queensland, David has a wealth of experience in a range of sectors but particularly enjoys working with Not for Profit Organisations and Small Businesses.
David has qualifications in both Science (Bachelor of Biotechnology, Honours) and Commerce (Bachelor of Accounting) and has spent over 15 years working in various areas of Finance and Taxation.
David, his wife Amy, and their various pets, have now settled in Alice Springs.
Brooke is an Alice Springs local. She oversees the Bookkeeping team at ClarityNT and enjoys taking on challenging responsibilities and building good relationships with her clients.
With extensive experience in Bookkeeping, Brooke also has specialised knowledge in Child Care, Not for Profits and Sporting Clubs.
Brooke is currently studying a Diploma in Accounting with Charles Darwin University and has a Certificate III and IV in Bookkeeping of which she received an outstanding achievement award.
Outside of the office, Brooke enjoys netball, photography and volunteering at the local BMX club.
Nicoletta is our Darwin based Accountant who has come to us from the exciting world of BHP Billiton as a Business Performance and Reporting Superintendant. Previous to this role Nicoletta was a Client Manager with Deloitte working in both their Alice Springs and Darwin offices for over 10 years. With her 10 years in Public Practice and more recently 4 years involvement in a global resource leader, Nicoletta brings a diverse skill set:
Nicoletta is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. In 2004 she won the Young Business and Professional Women (Australia) Award and 2005 NT Finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards for the Australian Government Private and Corporate Sector Award and Panasonic Young Business Women’s Award.
Janet forms part of the Client Accounts team at ClarityNT where she manages her own portfolio of clients. After spending over 24 years in the Territory, Janet is considered a long term local.
She previously worked in the Tourism Industry for 22 years, gaining experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll and Purchasing. She spent over 12 years in Yulara where she worked for a large Indigenous Tourism Organisation before relocating to Alice Springs.
When she’s not busy working weekends at the local turf club, Janet enjoys binging Netflix, spending time with family and is a crochet master!
Kim is a born and raised Alice Springs local. She is the Administrator at ClarityNT where she is responsible for overseeing Administration and IT support. On a mission to help streamline internal workflows she is focused on improving automation through cloud-based apps and developing company policies and procedures.
Prior to taking on her role at ClarityNT, Kim gained experience in a corporate finance environment as the Officer Supervisor at International Organisation, Williams Lea Tag.
In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, binging Netflix and spending time with family.
